Goals, Dreams and Visions to be.

Typical nostalgia hits when you get the chance to review your goals and realize that you did not hit any of them. Why so? You will prod yourself over and over again trying to figure out when the rain started beating you only to realize that it started beating you when it started raining. A study was done and over 100 elderly people were asked- some on their death beds, what they regretted in the life they lived. A staggering 94% of them all claimed to regret the opportunities once missed and the things they never did. Today, I’d like to dive deep into the abyss of missed opportunities, shots not taken, goals not achieved and chances lost. We all envision ourselves in the future probably sipping chardonnay on a beach waving subtly at the bar tender to get you more sun cream or sitting in your Range rover and doing 100 in a 60 km lane. I would call them fantasies and dreams. Fantasy if this happens during the day and dream if you see this at night. Getting there is not easy and we...

Its a Wonder, Its a New Week.

AirKlip has a great team behind it. This team is more than a basic “let’s work” team. We learn, live and learn. Better yet, we help out where we can and always we can help out. This week we all had something wonderful to say to cap a befitting weekend. This week features an array of wisdom ridden quotes and inspirational moments from everyone in the team. Hope that you will find something to help you for this wonderful week.  Moses Moses had more to think about in the weekend. He learnt a lot and some of the insights he gave were impeccable. He had meaningful conversation with his brain on how to set up his life. He gave out a pointer that we should always have a cost of input of our everyday work. This means that we should quantify our work and add value to it and this will help in tracking our goals and achievements.  He added that we need to pull people up and not let ourselves pull others down by showing our responsibility. Moses said, “Say what you can do and ...

TGIF, Keep the Friday Spirit on!!

Be as it may, the end of the week is nigh. Better yet, the end of the week begins. So what plans do we have and what are we looking forward to? As usual, AirKlip will always have your back. At times Friday seems to be a very long day encapsulated with thoughts of rave, meetups and laughing sessions at the very least. As you would have guessed, the AirKlip team just does that. Laugh all day, code all day and enjoy the “Furahi” Day. I tend to think of Nonini’s song “ Furahiday ” and I laugh at how it was easy to just skip job to have fun. The fun nowadays is overrated and I believe that fun starts with that feeling in your heart that tells you “Enjoy life!” After days are all bleak and blurry, there is reason enough to enjoy the end of something. The end of something marks the beginning of yet another something. So if your week was horrible, expect something different for this weekend, if your week was wonderful just like mine, then you’d better buckle up for even more wonder, ple...

We put a timer for 2 minutes though it is hard to restraining guys like Moses from speaking for almost 6 minutes, but remember, we do not crucify. So I will break down what everyone had to say for this week. Julius Siyego He had a good weekend where he learnt all about trust. He realized that trust is not something that just happens overnight, it gets cultivated over time. We often tend to forget that our parents are also humans, people who would love to be listened to. Julius realized how his mother was hilarious in more ways than one. This realization came when he wished her a “happy mother’s day.”  From having a chilled out man talk and being prodded over about a girl – hints that he should get a girlfriend, he realize...
