We are really excited. We are expanding AirKlip with
a new platform and it would be awesome to have you around. We plan to
launch in early July. The new AirKlip ver3.0 is aimed at putting more control in
your hands as the user of the app. The new update will not replace anything
that’s existing but instead it will have an easier way of getting timetables on
the platform combined with additional features that will better suit the way
students work and collaborate.
1. Timetable
AirKlip gives explicit access to everyone who wants to create their timetable. Changes in the timetable can easily be reflected and shared to students of your choice. Think of this as custom changes affecting those who are in your reach.
2. To-do Manager (formerly tasks)
This is an even conscious manager that schedules tasks into either academic related or just personal tasks. Here you can have actionable conversations that make task accomplishments and achievement better, quicker and more collaborative. This way, you always know what’s coming up, when things are due, and have the information you need in one place.
3. Events
All study and no play makes Jack and Jill a dull people. At AirKlip we believe for you to be an all-round student who is not only book smart but life smart, you need to engage in other extra- curricular activities. With this brand new feature, it creates the perfect balance of class and out of class activities. Discover new and interesting events your friends are attending in and around campus.
4. AirKlip Shop
Remember that one moment you wanted to sell something to your friends around campus but could not do so, well here is your chance. Create a mini shop and sell stuff to other students. Go all out on this and bring out the entrepreneurial skills in you, from selling simple 1st year books you no longer need to a mini café selling lunch to students in the students center.
Today AirKlip is not as convenient for students as we would
like it to be. Students have to wait for their class rep to create an account
and create a timetable for them. In case of any changes on the same timetable
they have to wait for them to make the changes. Task sharing for students is
not easy and not well incorporated in the system. Hence this is resulting to a
lot of work to the students and on our end in terms of support. Really, no one
is happy.
The new application will address all of these issues and
over time, the bundled features with more tools and freedom of collaboration
will increase the value students get on AirKlip.
We call it “AirKlip Aura” and we think it’s going to be
awesome. Currently we are taking in beta testers for it and we would love your feedback on the new version before we ship it.
What
is AirKlip Aura?
Made specifically for student’s collaboration, AirKlip
Aura makes time management fun, engaging and a lot smoother.
Simply put, students have more freedom to choose who
they interact with on the system and what kind of information they have access
to. They no longer have to wait for important school content to be created by
someone else to help them manage their class life.

What of Beta Testers?
Having you around as a Beta tester will be your first step
towards making AirKlip a better system for our users. With this program, you
will always have exclusive access to new features before we roll them out. In
the course of next week, we will email out links to the new application. Then
after we will collect feedback through a simple form (would
take less than 5 minutes).
The process won’t be a one way, we believe in also
helping you grow. At the end of the testing session, one lucky tester will be
awarded with fully branded cool AirKlip giveaways. You will also learn some of
the new technologies we are using in coming up with the application.
To join the program send us an email to beta@airklip.com
Any
good news?
As of today, AirKlip is 7 months old since we
officially launched. Its not be an easy way to where we are today. But thanks
to users like you, we have managed to come up with something that is helping
students achieve their academic goals.
Early this month, we were given a chance at the Global
Incubator Network - Go Austria in Vienna, Austria. The program is for the TOP
10 MOST INNOVATIVE global startups. It’s an opportunity we really cherished and
one that gives us hope of a better tomorrow as a platform.
With this, we want you to be part of our success.
Please don't hesitate to share feedback, ideas and
comments with us.
