AirKlip Now Blogs

This is the first of many posts to come from ITBrothers, the soul and heart behind AirKlip. Here we will discuss everything about AirKlip. For purposes of saving on space we shall therein refer ITBrothers as ITB. I hope you will keep up with the lingo/vocabulary that we adopt on a daily basis. PS: We always have a new vocabulary every week. I really do not know where they come from.

Company News
This will detail what ITB as a team has been doing on a weekly basis. Imagine how sports transfers work over a period of time, you get to know of the rumors and information. Difference is, at ITB, we do not deal with rumors. If you cannot back your story, you will always turn a few heads and be sure one member will give you a strange look.
From the projects we are doing, to the events we attend, to the company culture that we adopt every now and then. Well, we have to stay in touch with you always as our friends, clients, influencers and therefore you should know something about us if not everything.

Team members’ intro
There is no specific order in which I will describe members of the ITB. I will mention the roles that everyone plays in ITB and a few character traits, of course with the consent and approval of all team members.

To start us of we have Moses. This is the guy who programs. We call him the Lead Programmer. Talkative in every aspect. He is the type of guy who knows something about everything. That’s why he calls himself smart. Check his code, it speaks volumes on his expertise. He has the robust attitude of a salesman, spirit of a marathon runner and insight of an avid reader. Moses is the type of guy who will sell a fridge to an eskimo. No kidding.

Brian is such a common name but be sure not to confuse our Lead Designer as a common man. We call him UI/UX and indeed he is what he represents; great design coupled with creative energy. Quiet at times but explosive in character in certain situations. He has the eye of an artist and the mind of Picasso (well I might have just exaggerated this comparison) but he is as good as described.

Then there is Maxwell who writes this article. I will not write about myself. You will find any information about me on my blog. Well am also a salesman, so why not sell my brand.

Then we have Onsemus. Such as the name suggests, he is a quiet fellow. He is one of our latest inclusion. Quiet at heart but his programming speaks for itself. Little can be said of him as we wait for him to grow with us. Probably I can mention how he sits coolly never with worry, never with a frown. He smiles at conversations and when he gives his point, we all nod in agreement.

Julius is sought to be the friendliest in the office but his firm handshake might give you different ideas. Always with ideas and recommendations. He is the type of guy who always has a way out. I do not know if he has lived another life before or he probably spends sleepless nights gathering knowledge, all I know is that he has good ideas, programming and all.

It would be so wrong for me not to introduce our famed ITB friends. Friends who have acquired our taste and appeal for doing great work as well as living happy lives.

We have Sammy. He is a talent. What I mean is that he codes, he manages projects and he plays in a band. Imagine such activities in life and you would wish to be his friend probably since you would want to listen to his bands, yes he plays for two bands (Joharee and Le Band). Enough about him, Google him to know more.

I shall name him Ndaiga. Though he prefers I call him “General” not because he is commanding of which he is but because his points and ideas always hit home. He sits quietly in the corner listening to country music. He calls himself a hilly Billy. I envision him in cowboy boots, a rope and riding a donkey (horses are expensive). His expertise is marketing and he runs his own firm (EasyLive).

Have you noticed something with ITB? It is full of gentlemen to say the very least.

Here comes Florence, our ITSister. We all talk about how we are forming a branch for her. In a sea full of men, she does not stand out because she is a girl rather, she stands out because she can challenge you anywhere and I mean anywhere. I have never met such a bold woman who made me eat my words more often than ever, who made the whole room stare and freeze at what she says and at the very least, she is an IT security specialist. I wouldn’t want her to hack me, you know.
Now that you have met everyone in our team, be sure to get updates about them.

This was an introduction to the team that is behind AirKlip. Stay tuned to our weekly articles and sessions. Keep in touch on all social media platforms and be sure to use AirKlip to help you in your activities be it in class and out of class. Keep it #Klippy.

8 Simple Ways To Classroom Collaboration

The Collaborative Classroom is a model that honors all teachers and supports all students with intentional, field-tested practices that create safe environments. In Collaborative Classrooms, teachers facilitate an authentic exchange of ideas and children learn to become caring, principled people as well as thoughtful, disciplined learners. Teachers who use the Collaborative Classroom model make an intentional shift from having a classroom where they do the majority of the talking to constructing a learning situation and then facilitating it through student thinking and talking. Teachers are increasingly using digital tools to stay ahead of today’s digitally literate students. Here are eight ways they’re harnessing technology for collaborating with students, both in the classroom and online: 1. Digital Projectors – A LCD projector allows teachers to share digital content with students. The beauty of the digital projector is its versatility—it works with any digital ...

Time flies and welcomes exams.

If ever there was a time to realize that time flies, it’s now. Well, the stores are not doing any of us favor when they brand their polyethene bags with Christmas trees or the mall putting up Christmas lights. Yes, the year is almost coming to a close and this is the only time we can realize that time flies. In January, we were all wondering how the year will punch us right back. Remember trying to come up with some list of things we’d like to change. How many have we achieved so far? Time is given in equal measure and quantity. If ever there was a gift more powerful than time, then all would be in vain. Many sayings have been coined with time. “Time is money”, “give time time”, “time waits for no man” and so many more. They all mean the same. That time is a very important aspect of life and we really need to understand this. In all its measure and wonder, we are still yet to fathom its meaning let alone its discipline. Philosophy aside, this post was dedicated to the ...

How to have a long-lasting relationship.

We are all in the pursuit of happiness in one way or another whether we realize it or not. Regardless of our situation, we are always looking to find happiness in every little bit of parameters of life whether it is in our relationships, job or family just to mention a few. One of the key components of happiness in life is the ability to have long lasting relationship that make sense and provide us with some sense of feeling of love which can translate into happiness altogether. Long lasting relationships are difficult to cultivate and there are a few reasons why. That notwithstanding, we need to find out how we can have a long lasting relationship regardless of the barriers and if the barriers exist, how we can overcome them and maintain a long fruitful and lasting relationship.
